We started growing our season’s veggies indoors, right after Christmas of 2023..
In early spring, we rented and excavator and purchased a tiller to remove stumps and prepare the 24 rows we would eventually plant in.
Our biggest project was the installation of a 150 x 150 ft - 9 FT tall fence. We lucked out by having hundreds of 8 ft posts left over from the previous owners that were never installed. Additionally, we salvaged several large rolls of 6 ft fencing scattered through out the over grown field. We mixed 54 bags of concrete- by hand - to set each post and then attached the fencing using zip ties. The upcycled fence has been a tremendous success and has kept deer and other critters out.
